Horse Times magazine features arabian shows

Horse Times magazine has released its first ever online edition, and the latest issue features a 12-page spread in tribute to former FEI President Princess Haya, who is now honorary FEI President.

This issue of the magazine also features an interview with Eng. Khaled bin Laden, the organiser of the Rabab International Arabian Horse Championship, the 20th anniversary of the EAO’s El Zahraa Championships, the work of Spanish photographer Juan Zamora, as well as articles on feeding sport horses, dressage, jumping, reining and training articles.

Based in Cairo, Egypt, Horse Times was established in 1997. It is the only English-language publication in the Middle East dedicated to improving access to services within the equestrian sports industry in the Arab region.

In 2012, it was the only regional equestrian publication accredited by the International Olympic Committee to cover the equestrian events during the London 2012 Olympics. An Olympic Edition with exclusive photographs was produced in celebration.

On taking the magazine online, chairman Khaled Assem said the publication felt that it was “time to embrace the world of online media, which provides many wonderful options and opportunities to share news, ideas and images.”

It will continue to also offer a print edition.
